NOTICE TO MARINERS THA001 - 2021

PONTOON MAINTENANCE - TARBERT HARBOUR

Mariners are advised that:

Planned maintenance will take place on the North Pontoons – Legs A/B and C/D, Tarbert Inner Harbour from Monday 29th November.

Work will be conducted by the vessel MV Multicat, maintaining a listening watch on VHF 14 and 16. The vessel will be restricted in her ability to manoeuvre at times and will display the prescribed shapes and lights. Mariners should navigate with caution when transiting the inner Harbour and keep lookout for any surface markers.

A dive team will also be assisting with the operations and flag A ‘Diving Operations’, will be displayed at all times when divers are in the water. Mariners are advised to maintain lookout for the dive team and regulate their speed. The harbour office can be contacted on VHF CH14.

The expected duration of the work is approximately 7 days, a further notice to mariners will be issued when this is complete.
